When Iedyn from Sterling, Va, commissioned a Marilyn Monroe painting, she had a couple of possible photos in mind. She liked one more but wasn’t keen on the style and length of Marilyn’s dress in that image. She also wanted a famous quote written on the painting. So I played around with the pics, created some rough drafts and sent a load of different possibilities back to her – with differing colour schemes, styles of writing and styles of dress.
